Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit. Some cookies are essential for the site to function; others are optional and require your consent under GDPR.

CERES sets no login or session cookies. The only cookie set without consent records the choice you made in the consent banner.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use CERES: which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and what device types are used. We do not use it for advertising or remarketing.
The Google tag loads on every page in Consent Mode, with analytics and advertising storage denied by default. Until you accept, it sets no analytics cookies, and Google may receive cookieless measurements such as the page and browser type. If you accept, the cookies above are set. Google processes this data under a Data Processing Addendum, and Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
You can change your choice at any time using the controls below, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
When the CERES widget is embedded on another site, it loads neither Google Analytics nor the consent banner, and it sets no cookies.
These services set no cookies through CERES, but your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address as part of the request:
